HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 3 with Kirin A2 chip, LDAC, L2HC 3.0, Dynamic Noise Cancellation announced

Along with the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2 and HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro+ devices, HUAWEI today unveiled its newest wireless earbuds, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 3.

The Kirin A2 chip with Polar code, StarLight connection core technology, and Bluetooth technology are among the cutting-edge features of these earbuds.

Dual DSP architecture is also used in the Kirin A2 chip. The earbuds have a micro-planar tweeter and an 11 mm four-magnet dynamic unit for excellent sound.

They are lightweight in terms of design, weighing only about 5.8g each. They offer a total of four sizes and also include XS earbud sizes. Nano mirror glass, a rotating shaft design, and grooved earbuds for fine-tuned touch are all features of the case.

The earphones and case can be found separately and both have speakers. Through HarmonyOS 4, they support missed reminders and online notifications. They support wireless charging and have a battery life of up to 33 hours.

Additionally, they have real-time optimisation algorithms, high-definition spatial audio, super-sensory original sound units, and high-quality sound that has been certified. They also include spatial audio 2.0, which has less latency and better resolution accuracy.

These earbuds provide real-time hearing optimisation thanks to Huawei's hearing optimisation algorithm and the Kirin A2 chip. For a customised experience, they alter the volume, EQ, and noise reduction in real-time. Silent Call 2.0 and Smart Dynamic Noise Reduction 3.0 are also available.

When paired with phones like the Huawei Mate 60 series or other phones, these earbuds transmit audio in high-quality using the L2HC 3.0 protocol. Along with being water and dust resistant, these earbuds have an IP54 rating.

Pricing and availability

The HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 3 is priced at 1499 yuan (USD 205 or Rs. 17,045 approx.). It comes in four colors: Yachuan green, frost silver, ceramic white, and galaxy blue.
