Camera & photography: what's different

The big story for 2025 is Apple bringing more Pro-level camera hardware and features into broader parts of the lineup. The iPhone 17 Pro introduces "Fusion" 48MP rear sensors across the Pro camera array and further improves telephoto reach on Pro models; the iPhone 17 base also benefits from software and front-camera improvements like Center Stage for better selfies and video calls. If photography — especially telephoto zoom and pro-level RAW workflows — is critical, the iPhone 17 Pro (or Pro Max) provides the clearest upgrades over a 16 Pro.

Performance & battery

Both phones are fast; the A19/A19 Pro push single-core and GPU performance further while improving efficiency. Apple claims notable battery life improvements on the 17 Pro family. If you run demanding apps, edit video on-device, or want the best sustained performance, the 17 Pro (A19 Pro) shows measurable gains over the iPhone 16 Pro’s A18 Pro.

VIVO V60 VS VIVO V200 FE IN INDIA 2025 || TOP 2025 PHONE IN INDIA VIVO V60 2025

Vivo has positioned the V60 and X200 FE to appeal to different segments of premium smartphone buyers. While the V60 targets users seeking style and strong cameras at a more affordable price, the X200 FE is aimed at those who want flagship-grade performance in a slightly smaller package.

Vivo V60 vs X200 FE: Performance

The most significant difference lies in raw power. The X200 FE runs on the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM. This translates into faster CPU and GPU speeds, smoother multitasking, and better sustained performance for heavy gaming. The V60, with its Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, is efficient and well-suited for everyday tasks and good gaming, but it doesn’t match the X200 FE’s horsepower.

Vivo V60 vs X200 FE: Display

Display preferences may depend on usage. The X200 FE opts for a compact 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED with 461ppi pixel density and higher HBM brightness of 1,800 nits, making it more suitable for one-handed use and better outdoor readability. The V60 offers a larger 6.77-inch curved AMOLED that’s more immersive for video and content viewing but comes with a lower pixel density and 1,500 nits HBM. Both panels support 120Hz refresh rates, HDR10+, and claim peak brightness up to 5,000 nits.

ivo V60 vs X200 FE: Cameras

Both phones feature versatile triple camera setups but are tuned differently. The X200 FE includes a 50MP periscope lens capable of up to 100x branded zoom, OIS across all lenses, and 4K60 video on both front and rear cameras. The V60’s configuration includes a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and 50MP 3x telephoto, with OIS and modes like Dual Video and Vlog, though video is limited to 4K30. For zoom capabilities and higher frame-rate recording, the X200 FE leads, while the V60 remains a solid choice for casual photography and content creation.

Vivo V60 vs X200 FE: Battery and charging
Both devices have a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. In benchmarks, the X200 FE lasted longer at 15 hours 32 minutes versus the V60’s 12 hours 42 minutes and also charged slightly faster. Neither supports wireless charging.

ivo V60 vs X200 FE: Connectivity and durability
The X200 FE supports Wi-Fi 7, faster UFS 3.1 storage, and matches the V60’s Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance. The V60 features Wi-Fi 5 and UFS 2.2 storage. Both run Android 15, with the X200 FE offering 4 years of OS and 5 years of security updates, while the V60 promises 4 years of OS and 6 years of security patches.

The iPhone 17 Air is Rumored to Be the Thinnest Yet — Here’s What to Expect

Buy Now

Highlights

  • The iPhone 17 Air will have a thickness of around 5.5mm at its thinnest point.
  • The iPhone will likely not have a physical SIM card slot and will only support eSIM.
  • The upcoming iPhone 17 Air is expected to be priced lower than the Pro models.

A recent report suggested that the iPhone 17 Air might compromise on several aspects in order to maintain its thinness. Now, a similar report has appeared online that indicates the same thing, and not only that, but it has also revealed the expected thinness of the upcoming iPhone. It is worth noting that the official details of the iPhone 17 Air are yet to be revealed, but some reports hint that the phone will replace the Plus models. Here’s more about the iPhone 17 Air.

iPhone 17 Air: What to Expect from Apple’s Thinnest iPhone Yet

The much-anticipated iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be a more affordable option compared to the Pro models, with an expected price of around $900 (approximately Rs 77,803) — similar to the iPhone 16 Plus.

Recent leaks suggest that the iPhone 17 Air will come with a single 48MP rear camera, a slim in-house 5G modem, and one speaker to maintain its ultra-thin profile. This design choice could make it the thinnest iPhone ever released.

To achieve this sleek form factor, Apple is likely to use a smaller battery compared to the regular iPhone 16, ensuring that the device remains lightweight and compact.

With these features, the iPhone 17 Air is shaping up to be a stylish, slim, and cost-effective option for Apple fans seeking a premium design at a lower price.

iPhone 17 Air thinness details tipped

  • As per a new report from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo on Medium, the iPhone 17 Air will have a thickness of around 5.5mm at its thinnest point. In comparison, the recent 13-inch iPad Pro is 5.1mm thick.
  • While the yet-to-be-announced iPhone 17 Air is unlikely to match the iPad Pro’s thickness due to its smaller size in other areas, it will come very close if the rumours are to be believed.
  • The iPhone will likely not have a physical SIM card slot and will only support eSIM due to its thin design, which could lead to shipping issues in China, as the country does not favour phones that rely solely on eSIM.
  • If this information by the analyst turns out to be true, the iPhone 17 Air could become the thinnest iPhone ever, beating the 6.9mm thickness of the iPhone 6, which was announced in 2014.

iPhone 17 Air: what to expect?

  • The upcoming iPhone 17 Air is expected to be priced lower than the Pro models and could be priced around $900 (around Rs 77,803), similar to the iPhone 16 Plus.
  • A recent leak indicated that the iPhone 17 Air will have one speaker, feature a 48MP single camera, and include an in-house 5G modem to keep the device slim.
  • The iPhone 17 Air is also expected to have a smaller battery than the regular iPhone 16 to keep the size of the phone compact.

The flagship Vivo X200 series, comprising the X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini (exclusive for China), launched in China and global markets. Weeks later, we have now started hearing rumours about the next big flagship from the brand, the alleged Vivo X200 Ultra. Besides this, there could also be an ‘s’ series flagship that will succeed the Vivo X100S from last year. Now, the colour options of the possible Vivo X200 Ultra and X200s have leaked on Weibo.

Additionally, initial details of the possible Vivo X300 series models have been tipped on Weibo. Check out the details.

Possible Vivo X200 Ultra and X200s colours

  • Going into details, tipster ‘Panda Is Very Bald’ on Weibo without explicitly mentioning the marketing names has revealed the colour options of two phones. These are believed to be the Vivo X200 Ultra and X200s.
  • As per the leak, the alleged Vivo X200s is said to be available in black and silver colours. In comparison, the predecessor came in Titanium, Green, White, and Black/Grey colours.
  • Meanwhile, the X200 Ultra is said to arrive in black and a new red colour option. The predecessor was available in Titanium, Grey, and White options.
  • Furthermore, the tipster also notes that Vivo may launch the Watch 4 alongside the X200s and X200 Ultra. He also adds that there won’t be any S-iteration of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini.
  • To recall, the Vivo X100s series and X100 Ultra launched in China in May 2024 at a starting price of CNY 4,000 (approx Rs 47,100) and CNY 6,499 (76,500). We can expect a similar timeline for the successors as well.
  • As for the India launch, since the Vivo X100s and X100 Ultra haven’t debuted in the country, there are chances the successors may also not make it.

Vivo X300 Pro Mini could be skipped

  • Details regarding the Vivo X200 series successor, presumably the X300 have surfaced on Weibo, courtesy of tipster DigitalChatStation.
  • The Weibo post reads that the Vivo X200 Pro Mini with a 6.31-inch display size was a test run by the company to understand the market response for compact phones.
  • DCS says that the Vivo X200 is still the base model with a large screen. But it is said to be not as popular as the Vivo X100 while the compact X200 Pro Mini is claimed to have achieved good sales in the series.
  • In that context, the tipster predicts that Vivo may continue the dual-size strategy this year as well but there may not be a Pro Mini variant for the successor, possibly the X300 Pro Mini.
  • Instead, the base X300 could be launched with a mini-screen size compared to the 6.67-inch size of the Vivo X200. Furthermore, the tipster wishes Vivo to improve the cameras and wireless charging.
